Narrative Brooch Workshop

Come and learn how to translate your personal story using image transfer and etching to create narrative brooch.

Workshop will be held at the jewelry studio in the COA Professional Arts Building in Manteo, NC on March 10 and 11 from 10 am to 4 pm. To register, call 475-9250 or 475- 9251.

The Art of Enamel

The Art of Enamel is a national invitational show of contemporary enamelwork. This exhibition will celebrate the diversity in the field of contemporary enamels, featuring work by artists using a variety of techniques, from traditional to experimental processes.



The exhibition will be take place in the COA Professional Arts Gallery at the Roanoke Island campus in Manteo from March 8 to April 6, with an opening reception on Thursday March 8 from 5 to 7 pm.


Artists include: Linda Darty, Robert Ebendorf, Marjorie Simon, Barbara Minor, Deborah Lozier, Jan Harrell, Mi-Sook Hur, Ken Bova, Marissa Saneholtz, Sandra McEwen, Kristin Mitsu Shiga, Charity Hall, Kristi Kloss, Liz Steiner, Felicia Szorad, Adrienne Grafton, Julie Brooks, Irene Schindler, Jane Wells Harrison, Ashley Gilreath.

March Meeting

The March meeting of the Pocosin Arts Metals Guild will take place on March 3rd at the College of the Albemarle.  We will begin at 10:00 am with a short business meeting.  A needle felting for jewelry demonstration by Dianne Cinkovich and Joanne Lang with work time to follow.  Joanne has purchased the wool and needles so that everyone can felt their own piece.  You will just need a metal shape with holes in it.
