March Meeting

The March meeting of the Pocosin Arts Metals Guild will take place on March 3rd at the College of the Albemarle.  We will begin at 10:00 am with a short business meeting.  A needle felting for jewelry demonstration by Dianne Cinkovich and Joanne Lang with work time to follow.  Joanne has purchased the wool and needles so that everyone can felt their own piece.  You will just need a metal shape with holes in it.

    The COA Campus is located in Maneto, NC. We will be at the Professional Arts Building.

    Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the March meeting. I am squeezing in a visit to see my Grandson in NJ. We haven't see him since before Christmas. I am still hosting the April meeting and we are going to make the chain mail bracelets. Let ma know if you would like me to place the order from Rio Grande. They are on page 549 of the gems and findings catalog. Let me know who is coming and what to order. I will send out directions to my house.

    Annemarie, please order kits for Valda, Joanne, Kathryn, Irene, Georgia, and Donna. Hilary will call in a couple of days to let you know if you should order one for her.

    What a great time at the March meeting. What made it great was the sharing by the members. Donna Strawhand shared her work from her Rio Grande workshop, Hilary, Irene, and Joanne shared their work from Cabin Fever Reliever.
