September 6-8th, three-day workshop Class fee $295 + material & studio fee This class will teach the basic principles and techniques of forging metal into controlled forms. Students will hammer-forge and take home a set of several copper sample forms that will serve as a visual library of skills learned. Then students will make a bracelet project incorporating several forging principles. Students may do a second or third project of their choosing if time allows. The class will cover safety, tool etiquette and maintenance with some finishing shortcuts. There will be a demonstration on how to customize tools.
