We are going to have fun!
We will begin at 10:00 am at the Pocosin Arts Folk School with a short business meeting and then some food and work. Bring along a lunch and drink or stop next door for a great lunch bargain.
Valda is bringing her kiln so that we can do enameling and who is not pumped to enamel after Cabin Fever Reliever? You will need to bring your own supplies. I am bring some pickle and kiln wash. Bruce could you bring along your pickle pot? Of course if you want to work on an independent project, do so.
Since we are all using one kiln I asked Anne Marie Pomp if she would be willing to give a demonstration on wire knitting, here is her reply: Yahoo!
I will be glad to do a presentation on knitting with wire. If people are interested, they will need size 6 or 7 metal knitting needles, beads and a spool of 26 and 18 gauge wire, in the same color and pliers. I use "Artistic Wire" and I get it from Metalliferous and it comes in a wide variety of colors. One spool will make at least three bracelets. To find the colored wire , you log onto www.metalliferous.com and click on Base Metal and then on Artistic Wire and you will be overwhelmed by the color selection.
I am looking forward to the meeting,
Annemarie
So, gather your tools, supplies and lunch and join us at Pocosin at 10:00 am on April 3, 2010.
