Pocosin Arts is invited by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center to pursue an Economic Innovation Grant. The Pocosin Arts letter of intent to the NCREDC submitted by Feather Phillips in December outlined the request for funding to develop a Craft Metals Incubator Program. Guild members Dianne Cinkovich, Ron Vick, Marlene True, and Hilary Anderson assisted with the outline. Pocosin Arts' letter of intent was received amongst 152 letters & 45 applicants were invited to pursue. It remains a highly competitive process and we are honored to be invited to fully pursue the grant.
Monday (January 18th) evening at 6:00pm Pocosin Arts will be hosting a meeting & a potluck dinner to discuss the proposed Craft Metals Incubator with individual PAMG members who would like to provide support in the grant application process. Any input from individuals interested in a Pocosin Arts Craft Metals Inbubator Program would be greatly appreciated. To become informed prior to the meeting, please take a look at the grant application and proposal requirements on the NC Rural Center's website: www.ncruralcenter.org/grants/grantees.htm. Bring a dish if you are able!

ReplyDeleteHi Hilary, This is exciting news. Congrats to all. I will be there for the meeting with four cheese-macaroni and cheese in hand. Should we bring our own drinks? Dianne
ReplyDeleteBring your own drinks if you'd like. Pocosin Arts has some sodas, water, coffee, & a variety of hot teas.
