Here is a little darker blue. Maureen, I don't think we have quite yet I am going to copy the template and send it to you so that you can see the colors while you create. I tried this little darker turqoise but it doesn't complement the background. I do think the darker letters stand out better????Thanks for helping us.

Dianne & everyone, I worked on making the "letters" more clear and neat on the green background version. Let me use that one as a starting point now and I'll change the color to blue if you like that, and make the contrast a little stronger. Then I'll email the lasted effort to you Dianne, and you can post revised logo for comments again.
ReplyDeleteMaureen I placed the green logo image in the header so that you could see it clearly. I would really like to have it sit to one side but do not know how to do that yet. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteDianne, boy, that looks pretty cool! I tried to change the color, but it's getting to be such a problem because the outlines of each piece of the letters aren't distinct. What I can to if add green space to the to and to the left of the letters so there'll be more room for the name where you have it now. Then you can decide about that.
ReplyDeleteIt does look cool, doesn't it. Please do not worry about the color any more. Once it was up large I think the color issue was resolved in of itself.
ReplyDeleteOkay, let's give the spacing by adding green to the right and left so that the title and image work a little better together. The we will have it both ways and the others can comment. THANK YOU.
You work fast!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the adjusted image and text combination?
Maureen,
ReplyDeleteI think we have it! It is balanced, the logo is creative, represents who we are and just looks cool.
You are a woman who has staying power and I am so appreciative of your grace.
Dianne and Maureen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for working on the blog. The logo is looking good. Sorry I've been slow to respond. I had a friend visiting from Oregon and I've been busy getting some work done as Christmas is just around the corner. Ron took some photos of my work. How do I go about including them in the gallery?
Good for you Hilary! Just email your images to me and I will post them in the Gallery. Cannot wait to see them.
